The EthicalQuote curves are given by aggregating positive and negative news gathered on the Internet from various sources (media, corporates, NGOs, blogs, etc.). The universe includes 581 companies within 18 sectors.

The EthicalQuote score is a quantitative measure of ethical popularity given by aggregating positive and negative news, multiplied by the score / volume rate (qualitative adjustment); a historical erosion factor is also used in the calculation (view Methodology).

This database has been populated since 2002 by an international team of > 500 intern ethical information analysts. Everyday, 20 analysts perform 80 hours of reading, screening 2000 news items.
