Hyundai donates mobile clinics to Nigeria

Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), world’s fourth largest automobile manufacturer, has donated two units of hi-tech ultra modern mobile clinics to two of Nigeria’s foremost health institutions, the Abuja National Hospital and University of Abuja Teaching Hospital. Receiving the donations on behalf of these institutions, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, Honourable Minister of Health, said in his goodwill message that the vehicles are coming at an auspicious moment when the country needed to enhance its national disaster management system. He described the mobile clinics as ‘Purpose built vehicles’ that should be used strictly for the purpose they are meant, warning that government would not hesitate to frown at any flagrant exploitation of the mobile clinics. Also in his remarks, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, who was represented by Prince Debo  Adeniyi in the ministry, applauded the magnanimity of Hyundai Motor Company and Korea Foundation for International Healthcare, saying that the Federal Republic of South Korea and Nigeria had enjoyed steady and purposeful relationship over the years.
