Lufthansa to launch commercial bio-fuel flights

Lufthansa will launch the world’s first scheduled commercial passenger flights using bio-fuel in the first half of 2011. An A321 using IAE engines will fly between Hamburg and Frankfurt using a 50-50 bio-fuel/conventional fuel blend.
